Special occasions are wonderful and everyone looks forward to celebrating something happy. The Holmes Community College Goodman Campus has two venues that have been over looked for the last several years: the Holmes House and Chapel on the Hill which are both managed by the Holmes Alumni Association. Both are good for weddings, showers and teas.

The Holmes House has three bedrooms and three private baths. It was the past home for the president of Holmes before the new home was built on the west side of the Goodman Campus. It has been great for teas, showers or the bridal party before a wedding at the Chapel on the Hill. Lodging includes the use of the kitchen and sitting areas and for other details see the website: http://holmescc.edu/alumni/holmeshouse.aspx (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site..

The Chapel on the Hill was designed to meet the spiritual, emotional and inspirational needs of the Holmes students and community. The old Webster Hall provided the building material for the chapel, mainly the bricks, when it was dismantled. Over the last several years it has become a popular place for alumni to come back to tie the knot. Alumni are welcome back any time but students have been using it for student organization meetings during the school year.

When looking for a wedding venue or a destination for shower keep the Holmes Goodman Campus in mind. We all know there is “No Place Like Holmes.”
