Author: Liz Howell

Liz Howell is a sophomore from Zama. While trying to find her place in a new environment as both an autistic person and a homeschool student, Liz made a name for herself as "Cape Girl" during her freshman year and has been told by her professors that she is "weird and proud of it." Her major is English, and she hopes to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing and a Ph.D. in American Literature before finding a teaching job at a community college or small university. She can often be found lurking somewhere around McDaniel Hall, either tutoring her peers in the Writing Center or reading on the front steps. As she seems to always be singing, one only has to follow the sound of "American Pie" floating across campus to find Liz, wherever she may be. She is currently serving as the Holmes CC Gamer's Club president, and is known as one of the geekiest people on campus. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
