Fall is here and so are all of the wonderful activities that come with it.
Whether you are looking for pumpkin patches, haunted houses/trails or dates for the Mississippi State Fair, I got you covered.
The 162nd Mississippi State Fair is happening this year. It is wise to be cautious this year because COVID-19 is still around. This time last year, the cases shot up tremendously.
The fair will be in town from Oct. 6-17.

If you are looking for some fun activities to do with your friends or family, Nichols-Boyd Pumpkin Patch or Resting Place Lowery Tree Farm are the places to be.
Moseley Meadows consists of a hay maze, pumpkin patch-pick and train ride.
It also offers concessions, a petting zoo and picnic areas. You can bring your own food, but they have awesome food available for you to purchase.
Resting Place consists of a pumpkin patch, tractor-pulled hay rides and wagon rides.
It also offers a picnic area and farm animals.
Resting place is located in Flora and Nichols-Boyd is located in Brandon.

If you want something more on the spookier side this season, then the House of the Haunted Fields might be the event for you.
This event is an outside haunted trail called “Trail of Nightmares.” This event offers concessions, Halloween goodies and local venders that offer homemade spooky items.
