Politicians across the nation have many things in common; race, money, education and the list goes on and on. I forgot to mention that there are many men in politics and not women. Why is that, you may ask? Stereotypically men have been “running” this country for years and years have never given a woman a chance to show what she can do. In all ways of life women have stood beside men and helped them to success.
Now within the new presidential race we have seen many changes. Presidential candidate Joe Biden has chosen a woman as his running mate, and people have been both joyful and displeased. In my opinion I was glad that one person can see that times have changed, and women’s opinions are now a much more needed. Women are now breaking down doors for other generations to come and by me being a woman who wants to go into the political world I am happy.
