Tuesday, March 22 of 2022 was a life-changing day for the Holmes Goodman Campus. Holmes Community College in Goodman was one of several places across the state damaged by severe weather.

Just after lunch, the roofs of several buildings on campus were ripped off including the cafeteria. There were no students inside at the time, but the cafeteria staff had to quickly take shelter. Though none of the students were hurt physically, emotionally is a different story.

Much progress has been made since the damage. Many students are back in the dorms and the administration has worked hard to ensure everything gets back to normal.

With less than a month of class left, the students, faculty, and staff are making the final days count.
