With the holidays quickly approaching, I have constantly wondered how I could give back.
Each year different organizations giveaway free turkeys and do Toys for Tots. Well, this year I decided to do the same, but instead of donating randomly, I picked a children’s shelter to help sponsor for Christmas.
There are many kids who are put in shelters and foster homes each year without any say-so.
During the holidays they are left by themselves feeling alone and unloved. I know this because I was once in a home during the holidays. I am partnering with many self-owned businesses to raise money and donate toys to the shelter.
This holiday I ask you, my fellow Bulldog, to think of someone not as fortunate as you and donate to any local charity or fundraiser.
Giving is the reason for the season.
