Dr. Dan Coleman and Dr. Demondes Haynes of the University of Mississippi Medical Center delivered a talk and Q&A at the Holmes Community College Ridgeland Campus on Tuesday, April 20.
This was part of annual visit by UMMC every spring semester. Over 20 students attended the event looking to learn more about medical school.
For Dr. Kenneth T. Milliken, a Holmes chemistry instructor who organized the visit, said it was the Q&A session that he felt was the most impactful. Dr. Milliken stated “There were good questions they had on their minds and they were answered in very good detail. So, the students came away satisfied knowing what to do to prepare and apply.”
