On Oct. 6, the number 1 ranked Holmes Lady Bulldogs played the number 3 ranked Northwest Rangers. The Bulldogs fell short in the 22nd minute of the match making the score 1-0. Lady Bulldog Bailee Fairley shared a few words on what she believes her team is.
“We have a really strong and competitive team,” Fairley said. “What makes this team special is that we will always fight for each other on and off the field. We believe in lifting each other up and building an encouraging environment.”
I also asked Bailee what the team’s goals were for this season with them being so driven and having so much potential to do remarkable things in the Holmes community.
“I’m excited for the rest of our season; we have set many goals that we expect to meet for this year,” Fairley said. “This team definitely has a lot of potential and has so much to give.”
It’s good to be on a supportive team with big goals that is there to give you a drive to do bigger things.
When asked what the Lady Bulldogs were most excited about this year, Fairley said “It’s exciting to be on a competitive team that no matter what happens we know we have each other’s back.”
